Why do ALMOST ALL patriarchs and prophets in the Tanach have a wife and children (as Hashem commanded us to do!) when in the New Testament we have ‘Jesus’/Yeshua, John the Baptist, and Paul — all major leaders... that were not married.  Why does Paul teach it is better if a man cannot control his desires that he marry, otherwise it would be great to be single?  Especially when the picture in the Torah/Tanach is that of a man taking a wife as commanded by Hashem and procreating!  Now people try to spiritualize this away in Christianity and say that is not what Paul is saying.  Go read his writings... it is exactly what he says and it goes directly against Torah. First, almost all the prophets is not all, just like Yahshua haNotsrei, Yahchanan haMatbil, and Sha’ul of Tarshus are not all the major leaders of the early Natsarim assembly.   Second, I ask for evidence, from the “NT” or otherwise that Sha’ul of Tarshus was never married, and that Yahchanan haMatbil had no wife and children — just because their wives and the manner of their death was not mentioned does not mean they did not exist; after all the same holds true for most of the prophets — how many of their wives and children are mentioned in Tanakh???  And those who are include the hooker Hoshea married, and the children she bore him of whoring named “Jezreel”, “not loved or no compassion”and  “not my people”. Concerning Yahshua, the Torah foretold that YHWH would raise a PROPHET LIKE MOSHEH as a future leader of His people Yisra’el (Devarim 18:15-19).  And while Mosheh was MARRIED (Shemoth 2:16-22), he led Bnai Yisrael, traveling through the wilderness AS A SINGLE MAN (Sepher Yashar [Jasher] 79:15-17)!!!  Likewise YHWH THE MESSIAH, embuing Yahshua of Natsaret, ALTHOUGH MARRIED TO YISRAEL, pitched his tent in the wilderness of the world AS A SINGLE MAN. Concerning Shaul, Kepha (or Peter) says that his writings are “hard to understand, and the unstable will twist them to their own hurt” making Sha'ul appear as teaching against Torah (see 2 Peter 3:15-16).  Shaul, likewise, knew that his words were being twisted and that he was misunderstood as teaching against the Torah (Rom. 3:8; 6:1-2,15), and went to great lengths to prove that this was not true (Acts 21:20-26).  Although I do not profess to understand the meaning of all he wrote, he said: 1 Corinthians 7:25 I have no command from the Master, but I give judgment as one whom the Master in His compassion has made trustworthy.  I THINK then that this is GOOD BECAUSE OF THE PRESENT DISTRESS, that it is good for a man to remain as he is... [28] And if you should marry you have NOT SINNED, but such shall have pressure in the flesh which I would spare you. This is nothing less than following up Yahshua’s words, which in turn were a mere echo of the voice of the prophets: Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves for they shall deliver you up to councils and to congregations.  You shall be beaten, and you shall be brought before rulers and kings, for My sake, for a witness to them...[11] when they lead you away and deliver you up... [12] and brother shall deliver up brother to death, and a father his child, and children shall rise up against parents and shall put them to death [13] And you shall be hated by all for my Name’s sake, but he who endures to the end shall be saved. MattithYah 25:16 Then let those who are in Yehudah flee to the mountains [17] Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take whatever out of his house, [18] And let him who is in the field not turn back to get his garments, 19 And woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days (in YHWH’s world that happens WHEN YOU ARE MARRIED), [20] And pray that your flight does not take place in winter or on the Sabbath [21] for there shall be GREAT DISTRESS such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. [22] And if those days were not shortened no flesh would be saved, but for the sake of the chosen ones those days shall be shortened. Further, Shaul said: TimoYah Aleph 3:2.  An overseer then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, sober, sensible, orderly, kind to strangers, able to teach...[4]one who rules his own house well, having his children in subjection with all reverence, [5] for if a man does not know how to rule a family of his own, how shall he look after the assembly of Elohim?...[12] Likewise let attendants be the husbands of one wife, ruling children and their own house well. For a leader in the assembly to be the husband of one wife, then, and ruling their own children well, they MUST MARRY AND PROCREATE.  That is exactly what the apostle, Sha'ul says, and it's in accordance with the Torah and Tanakh.
